Biography
I am Dr. S, the author of the blog Science Story: From the Birth of the Universe to Artificial Intelligence.
After earning a Doctor of Engineering degree from a graduate school of engineering, I worked in industrial research and development in the field of electronics. In recognition of my research achievements, I was invited to serve as a Visiting Professor at a national university research institute. Following my retirement from industry, I also worked at a national science and technology research institute.
Purpose of This Website
This blog is dedicated to the young people who will shape the future of humanity.
It tells the story of the universe—from the birth of the cosmos to the formation of the Earth, the origin and evolution of life, and ultimately the emergence of humankind. These are among the greatest achievements of science, uncovered through the tireless efforts of countless scientists over many generations.
My hope is that readers will deepen their understanding of this remarkable scientific journey, gain a renewed appreciation of humanity’s place in the universe, and use this knowledge as a foundation for thinking about their own future and the direction in which our society should advance.
